from what I've read semax is supposed to boost BDNF which I know is like the growth factor for your brain? and it also does something with the dopamine and serotonin systems but honestly that part lost me a little lol. I get that it was originally developed in russia for stroke recovery which is kinda wild to me that we're talking about using it for everyday cognition
what I'm stuck on is the dosing stuff mostly. like I see people say 300mcg and other people say 600mcg and I honestly dont know if those numbers even mean the same thing depending on how you take it. the nasal spray version vs subq seems like it would hit totally different? but I cant find a clear answer on how much actually reaches your brain with either method
also I'm seeing some people stack it with selank for anxiety which... ok that sounds appealing because I def get anxious when im already foggy brained lol. but is that a beginner thing or am I getting ahead of myself
has anyone here actually tracked their focus or memory in any measurable way while using it? like did you use any cognitive tests before and after or is everyone just going off vibes
