yo dr_peptide_research massive respect for actually owning those corrections, genuinely dont see that happen often enough on here. most people dig in when theyre called out, you just... acknowledged it. thats rare lol

this whole back and forth between you and SupplierSkeptic is honestly the most useful thing ive read on this forum in months. started as a dumb drug test thread and turned into an actual breakdown of COA literacy lmao

ok so followup question and this is partly for my own education and partly because n00b's situation made me think about it -

when you say "ask the vendor about counterion exchange and use the quality of their answer as a signal" - what does a GOOD answer actually sound like in practice? like if i emailed a supplier right now and asked whether my ghrp-2 had undergone counterion exchange post-synthesis, what am i hoping they say back?

because here's my concern - i feel like some vendors have gotten savvy enough to just... use the right words without actually meaning anything. like they could say "yes we use acetate salt form" and id have no real way to verify that if the MS data alone isnt sufficient for confirmation and most of them arent providing ion chromatography or NMR

so is there a specific follow up i can ask that actually separates vendors who know their stuff vs vendors who just googled the right answer before replying to me lol

genuinely asking because i have like 3 vendors i rotate between and i want to actually stress test them on this now
